Her skills as a music director, choreographer, and conductor have been seen in various classrooms, musical theatre stages, and live band performances. Some of her favorite projects include choreographing Little Women for Houghton University Lyric Theatre and music directing the 2023 summer youth and TYA productions at Millbrook Playhouse.
Linette's performance career spans choral singing, musical theatre, and live commercial music. In addition to singing, she is a trained pianist, guitarist, actress, and dancer. Some performance highlights include touring as a soloist in 2023 with the Houghton Choir, singing in the 2022 Realtime Arts production of Angelmakers: Songs for Female Serial Killers, and portraying The Witch in Houghton Lyric Theater's 2023 production of Into the Woods. By the end of 2025, Linette intends to release an album of original music.
As a composer and singer-songwriter, Linette aims to help performers and listeners connect with the deeper parts of their spirits, and her music often explores topics like womanhood and femininity. Her original song cycle Daughters of Eve premiered at Houghton University in 2022, and several of her SSAA and SATB compositions have been performed on choral stages. Right now, she's working on several musical theatre projects as well as the score for House of Cats, a virtual reality video game currently in development.
Outside of the world of music, Linette is fond of outer space, ramen noodles, and her cat Willow. If you get the change, ask about her clown art collection.
